Hadn't they already arrived? Either way W-Y spent a gazzilion dollars trying to capture this alien. Wasn't their W-Y guys on the space station at the end. Obviously they were going to send a crew or FLEET of ships to go grab it. The bought the entire station to to capture the Alien. Originally posted by GR34TD3STR0Y3R:Duh! It was probably a Weyland-Yutani ship. I think the first way is what was happening but I suppose it's up to you and how you take it. In that case the light coming over her is the Weyland ship that was likely on its way to secure the Alien. The second possible end is that the aliens really did get on board the ship, we did see them crawling over the Torrens after all during the release sequence. The light being on her at the end, if this is a dream, would be the Torrens coming to rescue her after she was shot off into space. you just wouldn't stumble around a ship in one of those suits and she took it off on every other occasion. You start to head towards the bridge wearing your suit and walking past the lockers where you take the gear off. Reason for this being possible would be the illogical starting point for the section, you're in a suit nowhere near an airlock so how did you get in. Ripley was blasted intospace when she freed the torrens from the station, she was bashed around so much that she was knocked out and as a result of that and the aliens being in her face she is having a dream/nightmare about the Aliens being on board the torrens. I'd just like a little deeper info on what happened, like maybe another DLC, or a short cutscene, then i'd be happy. I think Amanda did get picked up by another ship, since its the only logical explanation. Like after you got captured, you climbed up the ladder in the train area, and a train came RIGHT as you hit the top. I was praying the Alien wasn't going to be on the ship, and not because of Amanda's sake, but i could see it coming from a mile away. This probably means some ship picks her up.
In the last second it appears that lights hit her.
According to the movies, she indeed survives so it was a good decision. Her chances now are extremely slim but there is still a chance for survival. She was dead if she didn't at least try that. Amanda ejected herself and the Alien from the ship or something instead of allowing her face to get chomped on. I am guessing the pilot of the ship was killed by the Alien.
